Our natural, dry-aged, hormone, and antibiotic-free beef comes from happy Holstein steers. The animals are purchased as calves, then raised on the farm for the next 12-16 months. The calves are started out on grass pasture (season permitting) then progress to a forage, grain diet. All the cattle have plenty of room to run and play.
We grow all of our own non-GMO feed of corn, oats and hay. We do supplement our feed with purchased vitamins, minerals and soybean meal that is required for the normal growth of a healthy animal. As of 2018 all our soybean meal supplement is now non-GMO. We have the beef butchered and processed at Ebel’s General Store, a USDA certified butchering facility, in Falmouth, MI. The beef is dry-aged for 21 days prior to cutting, as this adds to the flavor and tenderness of the beef. All cuts, except ground, are vacuum packed. Prices for 1 lb packages of ground beef and individual cuts of beef (when available) are:

For your best value the majority of our beef is sold by the 1/4, 1/2, or whole, and we try to butcher every month to two months. Our prices are based on hanging weight, which includes the butchering and basic processing of 1 or 2 pound tube packages of ground and vacuum packing for cuts such as roasts, steaks, brisket and ribs. There is an extra processing fee for special requests such as individually wrapped steaks, stew meat, or odd size of or vacuum packed ground beef:
